Privacy Policy
NQ Solution (the “Company”) complies with the Personal Information Protection Act, the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, and other applicable laws. To protect users’ personal data, the Company establishes and discloses this policy as follows.
Effective date: July 26, 2026. This policy may be updated as laws change, the service evolves, or following legal review; any changes will be announced on this page.
1. Personal data we collect
The Company collects the items below during inquiry/estimate intake, consultation, and client-portal use. Identity verification is performed by sending and verifying a one-time code (OTP) to the mobile number or email the user provides.
| Category | Items | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Required contact | Name, email, mobile phone number | Replying to inquiry/estimate requests, consultation, identity verification (OTP) |
| Company & project info | Company name, business registration number (optional), project type and scale, budget range, desired timeline | Estimate calculation and project consultation |
| Onboarding preferences | Design direction, required features, reference materials and file attachments | Organizing requirements and preparing proposals |
| Verification records | One-time code send/verify records (email or mobile) | Verifying identity when accessing the client portal |
| Automatic collection (security) | IP address (collected automatically when an estimate or request form is submitted) | Preventing abuse and spam, limiting repeated submissions in a short period |
| Visit telemetry | Access path, visit time, referrer, anonymous session identifier (first-party nqv cookie) | Aggregating visit statistics and improving the service (no personally identifying data) |
| Cookies & analytics | Cookies, Google Analytics 4 (GA4) measurements | Usage analysis and content improvement |
Visit telemetry is anonymous, statistics-only data that does not identify individuals. The session identifier (first-party nqv cookie) is a meaningless random value, and visit telemetry itself stores no identifiers such as IP addresses (the IP collected on form submission is used only for the security purpose listed above).
2. Purpose of collection and use
- Receiving and replying to inquiry/estimate requests, and conducting consultation and proposals
- Identity verification (OTP) and sharing project progress and deliverables through the client portal
- Sending service notifications for contracts, schedules, and maintenance (email, alert-talk, SMS)
- Improving service quality through visit-statistics analysis
The Company does not use collected personal data for purposes other than those above, and obtains prior consent if the purpose changes.
3. Consignment of processing
To provide the service smoothly, the Company consigns certain personal-data processing tasks to the external specialists below. Consignment contracts require that personal data be managed safely in accordance with applicable laws.
| Processor | Consigned task | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Resend | Sending inquiry, estimate, and portal notification emails | Overseas (USA) |
| Solapi | Sending alert-talk / SMS and identity verification (OTP) text messages | Domestic (Korea) |
| Cloudtype | Application (website) hosting | Domestic (Korea) |
| Google (Google Analytics 4) | Visit statistics analysis | Overseas (USA) |
File attachments are kept in the Company’s own database without any external storage consignment; no public URL is issued, and access is granted only after session verification.
4. Cross-border transfer
Some processors, including email delivery (Resend) and visit analytics (Google Analytics 4), operate servers overseas, so the related personal data may be processed outside Korea. In such cases the Company reviews each provider’s data-protection measures, and users who do not wish their personal data to be transferred overseas may contact the privacy officer.
5. Retention period and destruction
As a rule, the Company destroys personal data without delay once the purpose of collection and use has been achieved. However, where applicable laws require retention for a set period, the data is stored separately for the period prescribed by those laws.
- Destruction method: electronic files are deleted using technical methods that prevent recovery or reproduction, and printed materials are shredded or incinerated.
- Legal exceptions: where laws such as the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce and the Protection of Communications Secrets Act require preservation, data is kept for the required period and then destroyed.
Specific retained items and periods will be reflected and updated in this policy in line with applicable laws and legal review.
6. Your rights and how to exercise them
Users may exercise the following rights regarding their personal data at any time.
- Right to access personal data
- Right to rectify errors
- Right to request deletion
- Right to request suspension of processing
Requests may be sent to the privacy officer by email (dwkim@nqsolution.kr), and the Company will take the necessary measures without delay.
The Company uses its own first-party cookie (nqv) and Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to aggregate visit statistics. The first-party cookie is a meaningless random value used only to count unique visits and does not identify individuals.
Users can refuse or delete cookies through their web browser settings. However, refusing cookie storage may limit the use of some services.
8. Privacy officer
The Company designates the following privacy officer to oversee personal-data processing and to handle users’ inquiries, complaints, and remedies related to personal-data processing.
9. Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy takes effect on July 26, 2026. Its contents may be added to, removed, or amended as laws or the service change or following legal review, and any changes will be announced on this page.
* This policy may be updated after review by legal counsel.
