Editorial policy

How we research, write, review and correct the articles in Insights.

Last updated: October 9, 2026.

1. Who writes our articles

Articles in Insights are published by NQ Solution, a two-person software development studio in South Korea, and the company is named as the author. They are researched and reviewed by the two people who run the studio, our CEO and a director, who also design and build our client projects.

We write about what we work on: building websites, web apps and business systems for Korea, Korean payments, KakaoTalk, Naver, localization, security and AI-assisted development.

2. How we research

We start from primary sources and say where each fact comes from:

  • Official sources first: government statistics, laws and regulators' guidance, and the documentation of the companies and services we write about
  • Guides end with a list of the sources they rely on, with links; case studies describe our own work and link to the live site
  • Facts that change, such as prices, terms, fees and figures, are dated in the text with when we checked them
  • Where a figure comes from a third-party measure rather than an official source, the sentence names that source
  • Notes from our own work describe what we actually built; we do not present anything as a past project unless it is one of our published cases

3. How we use AI

We develop software with an AI agent (Claude Code) every day, and we also use it when drafting articles. A person then checks the claims against the sources, edits the text and decides whether it is published. Nothing is published without that human review.

4. Independence

  • No paid placements: no company pays us to be mentioned or reviewed
  • No affiliate links in our articles
  • Where we compare services, we explain what each one suits; we do not promise search rankings, traffic or results

Articles explain how things work and what a build involves. They are not legal, tax or financial advice; for those questions, check with your adviser.

5. Updates and corrections

When a source changes or we find a mistake, we correct the article. Articles changed after publication show an “Updated” date next to the publication date.

To report an error, email dwkim@nqsolution.kr with the article address and what needs correcting.
